We have a toddler and two other young kids. We are in Seacrest and we frequent Shades at the Loop, the Red Bar, Wild Olives and Cowgirl Kitchen. I'm tempted to try George's in Alys Beach but I don't get the sense that it's toddler friendly. Anyone?

I think the Old Florida Fish House would be appropriate as well, but I can't bring myself to go there because I miss Luna del Mar (the restaurant that used to be there) so much. :sosad:

You need to go see Miss Kitty and DD and get your fix at Luna del Noche in Dallas, where I bet some of the workers returned. That restaurant location on Eastern Lake has changed names, ownership and menus a number of times. The location is great and is family friendly regardless of menu du jour. Kids can run around outside during the busy summer season and there are a few cute shops and swings to relax on if there is a wait. I think the game room is also still open to entertain kids while you wait or linger, but would have to confirm.

He's right! Flip Flops is a great family friendly option. Spicy Noodle in Inlet, Shades, Wild Olives, The Alys beach hot dog cart, Seagrove Mkt Cafe are some of our "take the kid" favorites by Seacrest. But the restaurant the my 5 yr old loves the most is "Fish out of Water". I won't say it's family friendly. But when we went at Christmas there were several other families dining there, too (at the 6 o'clock family dining hour!). They had chicken nuggets/french fries for the kids. And my son loved walking outside watching the waves and looking at the pools. He's dying to go back!

Thanks so much for the responses! We definitely have lots to choose from. I'm glad I asked, because I had planned on trying to get to Bud&Alleys and Cafe30a.

Senor Mojitos Family Friendly

Hey guys. Just wondering some ideas for family friendly restaurants (ie. loud enough to drown out the occasional fit-pitching). We've been to the Red Bar, and it is a must do. We'll be staying in Seacrest, so anything close by would be helpful. Here's some that have caught my eye... What are your opinions?

Bud & Alleys?
Hurricanes?
Cowgirl Kitchen?
Cafe 30a?
Stinky's?
Smiling Fish Cafe?
Fire?
Shades at the Loop?

Any others?
Senor Mojitos at the base of the 331 bridge. Outdoor deck great for kids, indoor too!! (850)267-2622 or Senor Mojito's
