Have you ever seen a McDonald?s or Wendy?s advertisement and really appreciated how delicious a sandwich or burger looked. You were so impressed that you went to said fast food restaurant and ordered yourself one.
You fork over your hard earned white collar cash expecting to receive the same beautiful masterpiece shown in the ads just to be let down by a sloppy disgusting looking sandwich that was probably made by an ex inmate.
Sure, you can?t expect that much for a burger that is delivered in less than three minutes but give me a break people, false advertisement is false advertisement. If you are going to advertise sexy full figured burgers don?t give me a squashed beef patty with some sort of material that is supposed to pass as cheese.
Think I?m just trash talking fast food restaurants? Naaa, I can appreciate a two cheeseburger meal from McDonald?s when nursing a hangover as much as the next guy, but seriously, quit advertising your food as designer foods and start advertising it like it is. Cheap, fast and greasy.

Makes me think that stylists have probably been replaced by graphic artists and computer generated images. Gives a whole new meaning to "fake food".

Considering the first photo probably contains very little actual food, was styled, specially lit, and then tweaked using computers, and the second is "food" where you don't have to get out of a car, get change from a $1 or $5 and they still make a profit, why is anyone surprised?

It's like comparing a Martha's wedding cake to a twinkie. :roll:

Sad thing is, there are probably plenty of people who would see these pics and still think fast food chains are a good idea. Never mind the health consequences from what happens once it gets in your gullet.

It's slightly off the subject, but have you seen the latest Hardee's burger commercial with the sexy woman dripping melted cheese all over herself, then licking it off. I'd be offended if she wasn't such a hot babe. I was trying to be funny but actually it is somewhat annoying to be bombarded with beautiful women pitching everything from cars to beer to beefburgers.

What's funny is that Hardee's probably has the best of all the fast food burgers, and I've never lived near one that seemed to generate much business. I'd bet that ad alienates about 50% of the population. Maybe this was their inspiraton:
