Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit didn't work as well because of the age ranges, and Tripoley always disintegrated into arguments, but it was a family tradition to play Sorry! with 3 generations and a bowl of peppermint stick ice cream mid-way through (which Grandpa claimed he bought "for the grandkids" so Grandma would allow it).
Monopoly was a fave too, but took too long.
Monopoly, the Game of Life, Operation, not a board game, Clue, and wouldn't call this a board game either but Twister, as it does have a board where you spin the dial, or it did back when I was growing up. I am sure it still does.
