Hate magazine subs, but was given a gift of Guideposts magazine last year. Love it for the inspirational yet SHORT reads. Perfect for the person on the go, you can carry it in your purse!

I like Real Simple (especially the question of the month and the product comparisons)

I also subscribe to Relevant. It is a faith-based magazine concentrating a lot on music and culture but reviews secular movies, music, books and more. It's a good mix of both. They also produce a women's magazine, Radiant, that does the same things but geared more toward women.

I used to splurge on Q Magazine ($8 a pop!) but haven't gotten it in a while.

I have several subscriptions...

Don't worry, I DO recycle old magazines!

What's the best way to recycle magazines? I'm always feeling guilty about throwing them out, but I've been told they're not recyclable by the county. And I often get behind on reading them so by the time I'm through with them, they're not current enough to share with a doctor's office or anywhere. I've finally weaned myself down to a couple and read the others at the library or hair stylist's shop.

I have eliminated all at my house except Southern Living. I pretend I am looking for recipes, but really I just like to look at the photos. :D

I get Coastal Living, Time Magazine, The Economist (love this) and New Yorker Mag (my favorite) it's inexpensive, but chock full of reviews and interesting articles of just about every topic, not just New York related.

I do find that Coastal Living though has too many advertisements.
IMHO.
