My favorites are Teresa Cline, Billy Gaffrey, and Alison Craft.

I dropped by the Gaffrey Gallery today to pick up one of Beth's flags for tomorrow night's party, and realized how long it's been since I've gone out and poked around a gallery around here. We're so lucky to have so many talented people living and working here. I forget to get out and look at their work like I used to when I was only here one week a year.

I'd love the hear whose work other people are enjoying...and where to see it.

I really admire Teresa Cline.
Lisa Hinds' gallery, House Of Art, has some wonderful art! (not just Gordy's work)
I like Gordy Hinds' work as well.
I have lots more artists to discover residing right here in SoWal.

On another vein...I also like the local musical artists: Dreadd, Waco and Redd.

We are very fortunate. I love the Gaffrey's work, both of them. I love to go to House of Art, both Gordie and Lisa's work is fabulous. She needs to paint more things like the frogs she painted for George's new restaurant, I love the colors in those.

Allison Craft (Beachmom) does the most funn vibrant art around, if I had children that is the art work I would have in their bedrooms. Of course I also love her pearls!

I need to get to TClines this weekend, I've looked at her work online and love it!

Smiling JOe needs to start putting more art work in galleries, I love his pencil sketches and want to see more of his paintings.

HHHmmmm, perhaps we need to do a SoWal art gallery tour one Saturday.

FYI -- Billie (female) Gaffrey teaches art classes to the kids at Seaside School. How lucky are they?

I understand that she and Justin have recently split up, but I'm not sure if her work is still displayed in "Gaffrey's shop. We may start seeing her work displayed in other galleries around town.

My favorite local artists, in no particular order are Gordie Hinds, Franco "Washboard" Jackson, and Teresa Cline. Three very distinct and unique artists.

Gordie's art available at House of Art, Shops of Grayton
Franco's art available at Eileen West Gallery, Ruskin Place, Seaside
Teresa's art available at www.teresaclinegallery.com , or by appointment at her gallery in Pt Washington.

I would like to see more of Smiling Joe's artwork, his portrait work is great!
Gordies work is wonderful too!
and Marti Schmidt has been doing some terrific new work using her new print press, her web : www.martischmidt.com
Kurt's fine art photography is really excellent work. www.mooncreekstudios.com
Eric Marcus, a unique perspective with photography:his web site is www.emmarcusphotography.com
June Holm has beautiful pastel florals: www.juneholm.com although her web is outdated. go to her local gallery- frame shop to see the new best work.
