WU, I loved that line about snowbirds refusing to pay full price for meals! Especially last night when I was talking to my mother. She and my father are at our condo and they went with friends of ours (also my parent's age) to the Red Bar for dinner. My mother was so happy! They all got half portions and the best cheapest delicious meal they've had in ages. Talk about the cat that sipped the cream--that's what they all felt they scored. :funn:

I loved the sidebar regarding mobile home nostalgia fueling spec home prices. I've been looking for a small cottage and have been amazed at how there seems to be no rhyme or reason to real estate prices. It's not quality, not location even. Love of crappy housing explains so much!
