Finally - Mrs. Sanford not "standing by her man"

It's refreshing to finally hear a "wronged wife" express so little concern about what happens to her husband and his political career:

"His career is not a concern of mine," she told reporters as she departed the family's vacation home in Sullivans Island, South Carolina. "He's going to have to worry about that. I'm worried about my family and the character of my children."

Seems the gov is headed back to Columbia after the "family retreat", by himself.

Jenny Sanford doesn't need Mark. She is a multimillionaire in her own right.

As an aside, I know that the Sanfords live on Sullivan's Island and that she is a Sullivan, daughter of the founder of the Skil Corporation. I've googled Sullivan's Island and seen that the island is named after Captain Florence O'Sullivan, who was stationed there as a lighthouse keeper in the late seventeenth century. Is he one of her ancestors, or is that just a coincidence?
