Its definitely within my diet but, unfortunately, not my budget.

I no longer stay in Dune Allen
I understand, but primary day was my wife's birthday and I am still suffering over my choices for that evening. So I am trying to find something to get myself out of the dog house.
I have enjoyed eating there a few times. All my visists were quite good except for the prime rib on a Sunday which was just ok, but most are just ok except for what you make at home and serve immediately. It was my fault to think that a hunk of cooked beef can be kept at peak freshness for hours.

Not taking away from this place, I have just never eaten there and this would seem to be a good deal. Anyone have an opinion? You guys have yet to steer me wrong.

I haven't eaten there yet, but have only heard good things thus far. Take one for the team and go eat there!

I really enjoy Flemings - The meals I've eaten there were wonderful, and I appreciate their suggested wine pairings with every selection. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, plus, their service is top-notch; the staff have always been gracious, and that makes a world of difference to me.

I've read complaints in other threads because they are a "chain" restaurant, and I do understand the desire to support local businesses... But even in a "chain" the management, staff, chefs, servers, etc are all local residents. And, Flemings is a huge supporter of local non-profits, hosting wine-tasting fundraisers in the off-season every month for a different organization, among other things.

IMO they are a great business to support, and I sure hope I get a chance to partake of the lobster/filet mignon special, yum!

We have one in Memphis and we've tried it several times and found nothing to detract anyone from it but also nothing to attract anyone to it; it is just an expensive steak house with other offerings much like Ruth Chris and a local favorite Fowlkes Folly (named by his wife fifteen years ago as a potential failure). The $99 seems steep to me and I'll bet it is not a full Maine lobster tail. Somone prove me wrong!
