In light of the New Year and by way of our Customers requests we have enhanced and added to our menu!

Not only did we add a few New Burgers, but we have also added several HEALTHY and LIGHT items... like Fresh Salads, Fresh Grilled Wraps, Oven Baked Subs and Soups...

For our Seafood lovers we have added a New Fried Oyster Po-Boy...

We would like thank all of the locals that have made 2008 a great year and hope to see you soon...

We are currently open 6 days a week from 11am to 2:30pm and closed on Mondays.

*All locals recieve $1 off all meals with a fountain drink...

Our Shrimp PoBoy is the same...but unfortunately, we learned when we first opened that our Kitchen capacity could not handle Homemade Onion Rings...sorry...they are so good and we wish we could serve them...

How about the burger? It was different last time I was there(last week) New bread, not hand formed burger? possibly smaller meat portion(maybe appearing so due to new bread)?

Regarding the burger...Our Baker from Publix moved to another location, so we are temporarily not serving the bun until the new Publix Baker gets it right. We started using a good Kaisar Roll as of today. And yes, the burger size was getting too small and that has been corrected. We normally serve a 6 oz pattie and some Patties were 4 to 5 oz. As of Thursday I believe we have it under control.

I do appreciate comments from our Customers when things are not quite right so that I can fix the issue, which is usually easy to do.

never tried flip flops. how does it compare to the red bar or southern cafes grilled burger?are your burgers grilled over a fire like red bars? does your $8.50 price include fries? i'll try it but hard to beat red bars $8.50 big burger and huge side of onion rings or fries

Red Bar does have a great burger as well as many other Great Items...Oli does a tremendous job! I have never tried the Great Southerns Burger because Jim has so many other good items that get me first...with all that said...

Our burgers are hand made and we cook them in a very specific manner with certain seasonings and at a specific temperature... This assures the burgers are nice and juicy with a little bit of spice... We dress the burgers in a few different ways, but all have one or two of our homemade mayo mixtures...We serve it on a fresh baked French Bun that we get from our Baker in the morning.

We sold over 15,000+ burgers in our first year on 30-A and many locals and visitors alike have said it is one of the best burgers you can buy in a restaurant.

We regularly offer a Combo Meal which has a Burger and Fries for $7.75 daily. If you order a drink and you are a local (local ID), we knock $1.00 of off the total.

Come try us out. Nothing fancy, just a good old fashioned burger.
