My point was that if it was their primary residence, they could already be getting a tax break, so this is unnecessary.

Say what you will, whether its Germany, Afganistan or Iraq, the military man and family are in essence supporting two homes if they own a house in the states. I understand those who do not support this amendment. If I had my way, there would be no amendment to the state's constitution unless they were absolutely necessary. That said, once they are there, they should be evaluated and voted on accordingly. The only saving grace is that in order to go into effect, 60% have to vote yes.

It will most likely pass as most people will feel heart strings being pulled when they read the initial title of the amendment. Believe it or not we have to many rational people on this board.
