We were just talking about NOLA. But could we get a room? We aren't going to Tempe -- too many bad memories. We flew out for the national championship when the Gators played Nebraska, didn't have tickets, and bought them on the street for a boatload of money. The Gators were so blown out by Nebraska that we left at the end of the first quarter (not to mention the fact that there were, like, 10 people in the stadium in orange and blue), went back to The Arizona Biltmore, changed from orange/blue to black, and went out to dinner. Not a good day.

But if any of you get to Tempe, you *must* eat at Los Dos Molinos. The salsa is so spicy there that I thought I was having a seizure when I ate it. It was like a wave of strange sensations going from by head all the way down my back. I almost called 911. The food is awesome.

I vividly remember some Florida knuckleheads spray painting the 'Welcome to Louisiana' sign with something about going to Tempe via Bourbon Street. They actually drove to Arizona! At least you didn't have to endure that:lol:

Oh, it is just another world. We've been several times on corporate outings and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Except for the low humidity. My husband and daughter both have really dry skin, and they are miserable there after a few days.

Sorry. Off thread.

NO, it is 'on thread' because you might be going back:clap_1:

This will no doubt cause hard feelings among some, but what is wrong with Tennessee?

Fans aren't as funn as others. I've never been wed to the Vols.

Urban Meyer is worried about "Florida Nonsense."

The writer of the article says, "Everything seems to be setting up perfectly for Florida to make it to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game. And the Gators suddenly are being promoted as serious contenders for the national title. That kind of talk, to Meyer, is Florida nonsense. Meyer said his players don't need to be listening to that kind of stuff. 'I think it's about making decisions when you go out on University Avenue after a big win like that,' Meyer said. 'I've seen it. The human element is everywhere. I've seen it destroy families, churches, businesses, careers. If you have self-discipline and self-respect, you don't have to worry about it.' "

What a sweet note, thank you! I have two boys, 6 and 3, and they are actually pretty excited. So glad Steeleing1's induction went smoothly and quickly. That is good to hear. I'm a bit scared of pitocin. But since it's No. 3 it should be OK.
