Yes I have been on dial-up for 10 years.

Just never made the change and except for dealing with photos and videos it was not that bad. Of course now that I have the new faster computer and DSL I realize what I was missing.
Photos especially were a nightmare to deal with on a slow connection but hey we deal with what we have. I was just glad to have any type of connection and computer.
The new one was my birthday present. Hubby got a new camera for Christmas and of course he wanted the new computer for me, ;-) so I could store the photos.
I love how easy it is to manage your photos in Vista. I know many have complained about it, but I truly think it is great. Of course I got a later edition and got the Home Premium version and I think most of the bugs have been worked out of it and I got enough hard drive and RAM to support it.
I also got a media card reader, which makes transfer of the photos to the computer just one click. The photo software also sizes them easily for me, which makes it great for sharing in forums or email, no more giant photos.
Johnrudy, Yes those are Pink dogwoods.
Shallowsnole, I will admit I was frustrated at first by the changes in Vista over XP but I have been studying and working through them.
Gidget, yes summer is a great time to go on a fruit and vegetable diet.
