The working drafts have language in them that state clearly that subsidized healthcare will not go to people who are in the country illegally. The problem I guess is there's nothing in the bills dictating that people who sign up for subsidized care should be verified as citizens in any way. I assume people would have to provide a ss number or whatever, and that would be reported to the I.R.S. so they can track down the criminals who don't have coverage. But who knows, this is government, so maybe if you use a fake ss number, you'll just slip under the radar. Fraud prevention usually isn't a top priority.
