Schools and hospitals use magazines. Kids cut them up for art projects, hospitals/doctors offices usually want the ones from the past year for waiting rooms. (Take them to a gynocologist, please. I'm so tired of having to read parenting magazines in those waiting rooms.)
I love "Working Mother"- funny, I am working my fanny off (purely a figure of speech at this time of year), but I don't think this magazine is addressing my issues.
