I like Mike's Diner and get fried okra every time. Believe me, if you like Mike's, you will love Delta Kitchen's.
GTTBM,That brings back memories. I remember when my grandmother would stay with us to babysit, during the summers. That lady could cook! Too frequently, my brother and I would wait as she cooked, and when she pulled them out of the pan or fryer, we would let the okra cool for maybe thirty seconds and eat, even though it usually burned our mouths. We'd be finished with that batch before she'd dip out the next. I love me some fried okra and my grandmas.

now, we're big fried okrey people around here, the kind rolled in cornmeal and fried in bacon grease. and I hate to say this, but Delta's fried okrey was not nearly good enough for me. it was big and heavy, not small and crispy. in other words, it seemed to come out of the frozen bag. sorry, but that was my take. not that it was bad, but it wasn't mom's.
at daddy's we order a basket for an appetizer. pretty close to mom's. the closest I've ever had in a restaurant.
never tried Mike's Diner - will have to look it up. we're discovering more and more over in PCB as far as good food. I need to tell ya'll about the Pasta Grill... another thread.
