I really need to go away, but I have to share this. This actually happened a couple of weeks ago.
At the SWHS boy's basketball parents meeting, the concession stand was being discussed. Someone mentioned Gatorade, and another parent said, "oh no, we can't sell Gatorade. It has to be Powerade."
It gets very quiet. Three other parents and I are wearing FSU attire. Two sets of parents have an older child at FSU. We are all FSU fans. So I say OK now, I'm probably the most rabid Nole here, but even I'm not THAT anal about it.
Turns out South Walton High School has a contract with Coca-cola. I thought we were just being Noles.

This is total bunk, in fact the FSU football team used Gatorade until the mid-nineties when they switched to Powerade so they would no longer inadvertantly fund the competition.
So that's why FSU has fallen from the power they once were. Not too long ago the Gators were third in the state and fifth in the nation.
Maybe Stokely-Van Camp should label some Gatorade bottles as SeminAde (as in, they're limp).

They are pretty flaccid these days. All "semin" jokes aside, I'd go along with that, if it were that simple.
Coincidentally, Dr. Cade was at UF last week for the dedication of a Gatorade marker on campus. Someone I know was there for the dedication and was pretty excited that he got to meet Dr. Cade.
