Glenn Beck challenges Soros to live debate

Glenn Beck is on a roll today and he is talking about foreign money given to both parties during this campaign season. Beck also put out his theory that George Soros is buying Gold in order to make an attempt to collapse the dollar. Glenn said that Soros has done this to 4 other currencies but he did not name them. Beck was talking of how the Tides foundation has its fingers in a lot of pies. Then out of nowhere, Glenn Beck challenged George Soros to a live 1 hour debate on his show. Beck said this would be a one on one debate with no outside parties involved. Some would think George Soros would jump at the chance to put Beck in his place. Glenn Beck seems pretty confident also and even seemed to taunt Soros through his show. Will George Soros go live on the Glenn Beck show? Thus, the whole point highlighted above..if Soros was to lose terribly or end up making Beck look like a carnival clown..either way, Beck wins $. That is the general idea.

This is one of my points as to why Fox News is a propaganda machine and not real news. Just throwing out allegations without actually backing them up. Regardless of whether Beck is a reporter or a commentator it's sloppy and unethical.

The last thing Soros is likely to do is appear on a political talk show.

His style is much more 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain'. He has nothing to gain from such an appearance.

He may post an Op-Ed in the FT from time-to-time but even then its really politics designed to shore up his currency arbitrage operations.

I never thought I'd say it, but Glenn Beck (or his handlers) was/were smart enough to know this. Now he'll declare victory.

I'd actually like to see Glenn Beck debate someone - live and unedited w/ a moderator and Beck's mike/camera turned off while the other person speaks.

Someone tell Beck it's a good idea because he can co-opt yet another historical date/event for his purposes. He missed the 150th anniversary of the Lincoln-Douglas debates, but I am sure he can find some other major event/person.
