Linda said:One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority,and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and
faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather:"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

"Now there are some preachers on tv with a suit and a tie and a vest
they want you to send your money to the lord but they give you their address
Cause all of your donations are completely tax free
God bless you all but most of all send your money"
Hank Williams, Jr.
I do consider myself a Christian, but I do not like the televangelist/healing folks. Church services on TV is fine, just keep your 800 number off the screen. Just my opinion..

Which would mean that we are left free to assume whatever we like about God. (Which would mean that you don't really know whether he enters contests or wars.)![]()

Sorry, Back to religion. It's interesting to me that some of my friends over the years that I would consider to be amongst the best, kindest, most open-minded, helpful, generous people that I will ever know aren't religious. They do the deeds and walk the walk of being superior human beings and if they do or do not believe in God, I don't know. But they aren't church goers.

Maybe they watch it on the television so that they can "go to church" in their PJs. That is also a good way to conserve gas.
