One of my favorite Grayton Beach 4th of July videos from 2010 which shows people parading all around town. The best thing about this annual tradition is that it is so relaxed. No registration. Just show up at The Red Bar with your truck, jeep, car, bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. Decorate yourself and your vehicle on the spot and GO.

The Grayton Beach Neighborhood Association organizes it (though no real organization is needed). They have tried to stop all the water guns but that's part of the fun so there's still some of that every year.

People enjoy parading around town or just watching from the side of the road with coffee or maybe a beer...

more info from Grayton Neighborhood Association about Grayton Beach 4th of July Parade 2014:

Grayton Beach July 4th Parade: July 4th of course! Line up near the Red Bar at 8:30am. Watermelon and lemonade at Grayton Coast Properties afterward. All are invited-it's a free parade but NO water cannons and you have to play nice. If you want to just watch walk to Magnolia Street or Pine Street near Rivard.
