I don't read a daily paper, have gone paperless with as many bills/notices as I can, and keep unsubscribing to as much junk mail and catalogues as I can. Reading Smithsonian and National Geographic will do more to aid conservation than me canceling those subscriptions to save paper.

So you're gonna have to explain how that works.

Monthly education about the flora and fauna of our planet, continues to fuel my love of the natural world, tells me about things I may be doing that are harmful (like using cypress mulch), and part of the subscription price funds research and conservation.

Garden and Gun....Is this for people with animals eating their gardens? :dunno: or a food magazine?

I don't get Garden and Gun. Every month we get a free issue. But isn't garden as opposed to gun somewhat of an oxymoron?:dunno: It's also in the racks at Buckhead hair salons. Exsqueeze me?

I think it's more of a joke on the south. The first time I saw it the image of a southern belle wearing garden gloves and holding a shotgun came to mind. I then realized that was just loony, a southern belle would have a pearl inlaid handgun in a lace carrying bag.
