I missed the first year and part of second year, then got hooked! I was lost at first trying to figure out everyone's history. A friend gave me the background, brought me up to speed and for Christmas, I got the dvd of the first season. I liked Finn, sorry that it didn't go further. Denny Duquette and Izzy, I just loved those scenes. I cried so much when he died! Alex and the woman who was dying at the bar scene and the way he ran to the bathroom! I like Bailey too, but why isn't the baby refered to more?

I know, when she was talking about needing something meaningful in her life, I was like..You have a BABY!! and she was referring to the free clinic.:dunno:

Gulls, gulls gulls..............ahem, the story line is not as funny as past seasons, and I almost stopped watching. McDreamy wasn't enough of a McNuggett to keep my attention. But then came along this little bit of heaven.

Mango....it's a drama, didn't think it was supposed to be funny although it is funny at times. I agree with you on McSteamy.

Just started watching this year. Lovin' it! I like Izzy, George and Kristina.
:D

Rita, I highly recommend getting season 1 and 2 on dvd. Save them for summer when Grey's is over. We missed the first season and caught up that way. I think I watched them all in a week!

Hmmmmm, wonder why this site shows it as a comedy first, then a drama? :dunno: My point being is it is a good show, but sometimes these comedy/dramas get a little too serious, and I felt it was for a while.

I had a hard time watching it this year as I lost a family member to cancer this summer. One of the episodes mirrored our experience. Now I flip for a moment when it gets too serious for me.

I'm sorry for your loss! I have a family member with cancer too and it was a very poignant story.

A funny about this show.

A coworker had her students cut out pic of needs/wants and separate them. On one paper "Dr. McSteamy" was attached. We all thought he was a need:funn:, until we realized the child meant a physician. Never know what you will see!

I love all of the characters--Last week was hilarious when Izzie told Kallie & George--You know what's good about small diamonds? No one wants to steal them!! I stay up every Thursday to watch! This show is the best!!! :clap_1:
