That has always been my question Bob. When everyone is pulling the trigger who is to say they all have a clear understanding of the situation? Ammosexuals all believe they are the "good guy with a gun". Even Dyalann Roof believed he was the good guy saving white women from blacks raping them and taking over the country.
I believe that is what the "voices" were telling him. I don't believe there's a connection here to responsible citizens. This is, and I could be wrong, more of an expose of the problem America has with an ever burgeoning population of untreated mental illness as much as unfettered gun ownership. We are going to see more of this just because of the numbers.

does anyone here doubt this kid is a psychopath?

Psychopaths walk among us everyday and cause no harm.

Psychopaths are being reinforced everyday by a stream of brainwashing coming from the media. Paranoia is sold and bought 24-7.

http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2012/jul/22/gun-homicides-ownership-world-list The US has the highest gun ownership rate in the world - an average of 88 per 100 people. That puts it first in the world for gun ownership - and even the number two country, Yemen, has significantly fewer - 54.8 per 100 people
• But the US does not have the worst firearm murder rate - that prize belongs to Honduras, El Salvador and Jamaica. In fact, the US is number 28, with a rate of 2.97 per 100,000 people

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...th-carolina-shooting-gun-control-reform-myths There are more than three times as many Americans killed by guns per capita than in any other wealthy country, and more than 10 times the rate in comparable larger countries such as Britain, France and Japan.

Many of these countries have similar problems with crime, drugs, urban deprivation and youth violence, others are more peaceful, but there is one simple thing that countries with less gun violence have in common with each other: they have fewer guns.

No one can predict the future of a more gun-constrained America with certainty, but the evidence from dozens of comparable societies points to a clear causal relationship between access to firearms and how often they are used.

Great idea! Here it is. Only law enforcement agencies, Muslims, and dark skinned people may possess and carry firearms within the United States and it's territories.

This sounds great. This will put an end to all gun crimes. Now lets work on that confederate flag thingee........ain't this fun?

Maybe people would wake up if we just started calling it "gun disease".

I would pass a law requiring those who wish to fly the Confederate flag must fly it upside down.

This might take a second.
