"A translucent color gloss that richens natural hair color while putting a protective shine on hair." I dunno the difference between that and regular coloring - I just do what my colorist says. I suppose it preserves the highlights, yet enhances the color of the unhighlighted pieces of hair.
Sounds a lot like the painting technique Mermaid taught me in Indy! Looked great in her dining room! :lolabove:

I've had a glaze done on my hair at the salon. It's kind of like a tint..very subtle I thought. My dd had her hair cut yesterday and while I waited I found this in a magazine. We may try it on her. It looks pretty goof proof. OTC Glaze

Yes, except a bit rooty (that photo was one week after new color). The photo of me and Mom was last spring before my colorist started doing the glaze. All of my friends say they like it better blonder.

From one bottle blond to another- yours looks great lighter. I feel more "summery" when mine is lighter- sometimes I leave it darker in the winter, but the "darker times" are getting shorter and shorter!

Darlene, you should change your signature line to read "Don't hate me because I'm a natural blonde" but we will anyway. Some gulls have all the luck.:bang:

AND, Beach Runner, my vote is for you to keep your hair light. It looks really nice in the pictures.

I feel like the opposite!
I think my hair is too *light* right now--but I think you look great, Beach Runner.

Darlene, I don't hate you because you're beautiful. ;-)

I was born a towhead and didn't really turn darker until about 30, then darker still at 40.
And now at 51 it's that dishwater color. But with the white coming in right at the top of my forehead, I can work on my own Bonnie Rait streak.

BR,
I thought your hair color in the pix that JohnR took when all of you were at Great Southern Cafe looked great! Really light & bright - no brassiness at all.

That is a good idea dbuck..I might just do that. I have a sign over my desk that say's "Speak Slowly I Am A Natural Blonde". A co-worker made it for me years ago. Well, believe me I have other faults that I am sure some of you don't have!
