So maybe I'm too picky, but I can't find a stylist I'm happy with. I get highlights and lowlights and want an up-to-date, trendy cut. I've tried the Aveda salons thinking it would be healthier for my hair, but their color actually dries it out and makes it look like I have split ends. I went to two different ones to make sure it wasn't just the stylist. The others don't get the lowlight right and it comes out with a reddish tone when I want cool neutral. Another doesn't get the highlight close enough to my scalp that after 1week I look like I'm due for highlights again. Another wants to rip me off because I live on 30A, even though she doesn't get my color or cut right.
Can anyone help? I've gone back to coloring myself but would love it if I could get the look I want.
