My Sotto Sotto BD and winter solstice party was "sweet."
Great limonecello martinis (hubby had scotch with a twist and daughter likes Bellinis) and Avignonesi Vino Nobile de Montepulciano (great memories from our visits to that vineyard).
I had the best primi IMO -- tortelli di Michelangelo (veal, chicken, and pork ravioli with a butter and fried sage sauce). I also had the best secondi IMO -- salmone arrosto (Scottish salmon with sauteed garlic rapini and roasted potatoes). Dessert was zuppa al cioccolato (warm Belgian chocolate soup with hazelnuts and croutons) and dolce al Marscapone (Marscapone cheese layered with crumbled amaretti cookies soaked in a spiced rum). Yum!
Anyhow, that was my winter solstice celebration. I had on classic Chanel, head to toe. Daughter looked great -- nice cream-colored coat, black strapless dress, great-looking black satchel, fabulous Manolo pumps, and some great Juicy Couture jewelry. Hubby had on an awesome brown jacket and brown houndstooth pants.
What a funn way to celebrate my BD and the winter solstice!
