Howdy! The Best Birthday wishes to you. My better half is traveling in Ft. Worth and The Colony today so special Texas birthday wishes to you from just across town.
gttbm, jfunn and I toasted your birthday...I got smart for once and came home! They are still celebrating!
Thank y'all for a great birthday!!! It's been so funn reading all the posts!! I don't mind saying it started off rather rocky..work stuff..but y'all helped me make it through!!!
Then, my co-workers DID come through and took me to lunch. I won't talk bad about them for a while.
I picked my favorite BBQ place, not for the BBQ, but for the amazing club sandwich. Today, I did NOT eat healthy..and the club sandwich did not disappoint. It was delish. They gave me some wonderful ceramic candle sticks. I had flowers (iris) waiting for me when I got back from a sweet sowaller. They are beautiful. My son called me. (This is a good thing...sometimes I don't hear from him). Sunkist called me first thing this morning and wished me a happy day. Didn't see her today, but will tomorrow. Mr. DD took me to dinner at my favorite place...PF Changs. I know, I know, it's a freakin' chain, but I luv it. It was fabulous. I even had dessert. Banana spring rolls with coconut ice cream. YUM!
Back to reality tomorrow. I might continue to celebrate as BB suggested, but I can't keep eating like this.
All in all, it was a good day to become a senior. The one consolation I have is that Willie Nelson is OLDER!!
