Thanks to everybody for the greetings and sorry I have been MIA. MOMMA MIA? Anyways, something about having to run a business, keep the wife happy, tend to three kiddos, 10, 8, and 5 years old that keeps me from seeing this board as much as I'd like. I'll try and be more attentive......... P.S. Haven't had any oysters lately and an oyster cake just doesn't quite sound too appetizing. Too mushy.

I have had NOLA oyster pie before. I have seen oyster martinis but passed on those.

Now that sounds good. My Mom and Grandmother were from Manchester, England and I've been known to eat half a steak and kidney (''snake and pygmy'') pie before. It is absolutely wonderful. Oyster Martini....? I don't know about that one either.
