Well Ktschris, what can I say except I'm sorry! Those damn Cards, they are really beginning to pi$$ me off, loosing on your birthday, the nerve of them.

What is going on!!!! The last 2 L's, I've got to blame the pitching!! Partly Tony's fault, but I'm starting to blame Duncan for that. Izzy....it's time to sit down!!! Next time the phone rings in that bullpen, excuse yourself to the restroom!!! When Jimmy hit that grand slam in the first I thought we had it. But even Carp is responsible for 6 runs! He's a Cy Young winner...we should be able to expect more from him. Having said that, we are just missing plays in the field that sometimes we look like the keystone cops! But, keep the faith sister....October is a long way off.

I do blame Tony for what he's done to the field. Last year (and years past) there has been a rhythm. The boys were able to jell as a team. This season, however, Tony keeps tinkering with it. You never know from one day to the next who will be in left field. At the start of the season, he switch Miles and Luna up so much, I had a hard time remember exactly who our 2nd basemen was. Now with Luna gone ? he throws Bellirad into the mix and moves Miles to be a backup SS. Spiezio shifts around so much, I don?t think he remembers what position he plays! Now with Rolen out, I guess Spiezio will be at 3rd again!! Tony MAKE UP YOUR MIND and let the boys play! (Don?t even get me started with Jimmy not wanting to face left handers and putting So in center!) And Marquis ? you might be a better pitcher if you would let Yada catch for you.

Ktschris, I should get my hubby to sit down here and chat with you about this. I don't keep up with all the "ins & outs" of the game. BUT one thing I do know, is that the Cards always seem to have a problem getting good pitchers and for that I guess we can blame Duncan. As far as Tony . . . it will be a sad day when he leaves, but sometimes new blood can do a lot to rejuvenate a team.
