Right back atcha gawgus. It was a wonderful birthday weekend. Couldn't ask for better weather.
Early Sunday am we went for a whale watch on our favorite boat
(the Portugese Princess) with Capt. Red, who is usually very hung over Sunday morns, but he went scalloping instead, so John was our man this time. I've been on this boat so many times that I have my own sweater jacket compliments now engraved with Capt. Mango on it.
We saw 6 humpback whales. Five of them were swimming together, a rare sight. It was amazing. They also had a calf with them named Rapael. Too cute. Very playful and just a spectacular sight to see so many come that close to the boat for a full hour.

Had a delicious birthday dinner at Ciro and Sal's, my favorite Italian restaurant and the best in Provincetown. Also hit the beach and had a sea gull laying on my blanket with me, but the best was watching the seals come so close to shore. My sea gull would alert me where they were when he proceeded to fly out to try and steal their fish or get some scraps.
( Guess sharing my tuna sandwich wasn't enough) Too much funn. My only disappointment was I did not see Cher or Liza.
Just someone dressed like Britney Spears, I think. :roll:
