Happy chanukah to everyone, too! We celebrate Chanukah and Christmas at our house -- It's pretty much a party for over a week. Tonight we'll have chicken soup, salad, and latkas and the kids will get their "big" gift -- dance revolution for playstation. And we'll light the candles. We'll do that every night this week then head out to see my family in Massachusetts for a few days for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. It's a great month in our house! One of 8 days of Chanukah we'll pick a charity to give to as well. I've wanted to do that for years, but this year we'll really do it.

We enjoy both versions of the Adam Sandler Chanukah song (if you haven't heard them, you must hear them because they're hysterical. the kids know all the words). And Rock of Ages for a serious song.

man, their dad was pissed. "how could you bring that thing in here..." I think he's mellowed a bit in 20+ years and two of his daughters married catholics. can't be freaking in front of the grandkids over it.
