They did a local interview this week with JD Fontana who played drums for Elvis and he said Elvis really did not need drums as he had a natural beat that very few singers had.

As to critism of Elvis, was he flawed yes, but who isn't.

Unless you have ever met him in person, I would think it would be very hard to judge the true character of a person.

His music brought alot of joy to others, he was a great asset to the community, giving much back and that is what I will remember.

I knew about this.

I can't quite remember the details but didn't it have something to do with his fixation of little girl's white panties? And I can't quote the source(s) but it has been discussed many times through the years. It's obviously not something mentioned by his fans. And it very well could be a myth.

truly. and I feel lucky to have known his music when he was around. I went to a concert as a young teen and screamed and cried and had the time of my life. I've read all the books, watched the movies, but haven't visited Graceland yet. one day perhaps.
