BR, you must not enjoy cooking very much if you've only just gotten arond to buying a gas range! I've been cooking on a big Thermador for half my life now. There is absolutely no comparison between gas and electric if you do more than boil an egg. I hope your Wolf opens up a new world of culinary delight to you--you've been missing an awful lot!

Actually I am well-known for my culinary skills, and I am published in many cookbooks, including Neiman's twice. The local Junior League said they should have named their cookbook after me because so many of the recipes were mine.

I dunno - I was just scared of getting a gas cooktop because I had never had one, nor had my mom.
