Harry & David at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall will be accepting donations for Alaqua Animal Refuge.

FOR TEN DAYS; From July 30th until August 8 (thurs - sat) we will be accepting donations and will take all items to Alaqua so you don't have to make the drive to their facility if you don't want to.

Here is a small list of items that they are in constant need of:

1. Bleach
2. Paper towels
3. Large garbage bags
4. Kitty Litter
5. Old (clean) towels, leashes, collars (no choke chains)
6. Bottled water
7. Purina Brand (Cat Chow, Kitten Chow, Puppy Chow, Dog Chow)


Bring in your donated items and get $5 off any $25 puchase, and a coupon for future use as well. (plus enjoy the free samples while you are there!). Also - register to win a custom gift basket from Harry & David when you drop off your donation.

This begins today! This is the first time we have done something like this in our community, and if this is successful we will plan more! Unfortunately pets are not allowed in our store, but since just about all of us that work there have pets this is close to our hearts having a no kill shelter in our area. (one of our employees rec'd her cat from Alaqua).

Thank you to those who braved the rain and crowds over the weekend to drop off some donation items for Alaqua! We will be taking items until the 8th.

There is no purchase necessary when bringing in items. We want to make it convenient for people in our area to donated items needed without making the drive. We are looking forward to getting a lot of stuff; so bring it on!
