So, just who is fatter: Gore, Rush or Rove ?---sounds like a crooked Law Firm

Oh, you must mean Dewey Cheatham and Howe.

If you ain't heavy, I ain't your brother either~

I feel heavy, though! Sleep tight and don't let the bed buggs bite! ;-)

Well, it seems I might have been in the sauce just a tad last night and I have no idea what this means! :lolabove:

I was contributing to global warming, though~~~~

I just had to crop Gore's face. Change the ranking?

Gore.jpg

Kind of a propos. From a cyberspace blogger named "Troy McClure," a poem to Al Gore based on a note a certain lady named Kendall left on the napkin dispenser in a restaurant (the note saying "Al Gore Knows How Many Napkins You Take"):

If Gore can tell how many napkins Kendall takes,
The time is right to stop, slow down, put on the brakes.
Unlimited resources we do not possess.
Don?t take that seventh napkin. Make a bit less mess!

Don?t blithely drive around till all the oil is burnt,
Till it?s so obvious that even Bush has learnt.
Instead of SUVs with inlaid ivory,
Blood-diamond panes and panda-fur upholstery,
Try cycling. Half the time, it?s faster anyway.
(Does Gore know who it was who took that horse?s hay?
But I digress.) My point is, if he knows or not,
The sea level is rising and it?s getting hot.
So get some solar panels and, whatever else you do,
Wait till it really stinks before you flush the loo.

It's interesting that Bush, hardly known as the green president, owns a 4,200 SF ranch home which is so green it is off the grid and Gore, who won an oscar and nobel adulation, has a 10,000 SF home and a houseboat bigger than Detroit.

That is interesting. Did you happen to go to Eco Manor? Supposed to be very green. My house is more green than this and ironically we used the same person on a couple of items. Makes you wonder how 'green' Hollywood is, too.

I'd love to put in solar panels, but am concerned on the safety issues. I haven't looked into this for a couple of years, however; it's probably safer now.

Not sure of you motivation for solar panels. If it's saving money, a solar thermal water heater is cheaper and has a lot faster payback time than solar panels with current technology. From what I read, though, some of the cutting edge solar technologies still in development or just not up to market scale yet will bring the price of photovoltaic panels into more reasonable range. But if you're already in a super green home, you probably already have the solar thermal heater, what was I thinking!

How do you like living so green? Are you net-zero? Got a cistern? Graywater system? Passive solar?

Not surprisingly, Hollywood is full of hypocrisy as well.

Brad Pitt gets a lot of mileage out of the fact that he drives a Prius. The press seems to never make hay of the fact that he and what's-her-name fly all over the world on a private jet (neither will be appointed by our government to run an automaker) and bought a castle in Frahnsay. :D

It's also everyday folks. I was in Olympia, Wa during a green parade the locals put on. After the parade, the streets and sidewalks were littered beyond belief.

What is the safety issue with solar panels? :dunno:

Would that be pre- or post-auto bust??

And from a global warming standpoint, wouldn't it make more sense to tax the flatulent? :D
