Thanks, ameliaj, for your note. The two weeks pre- and post-surgery were unimaginably painful. Since then I've gotten a little better each day. I still am not allowed to sit or stand for any length of time, so I am mostly bedridden. We did drive to Lenox to get my rings resized. The docs had to cut off my wedding band because I was so tiny back when D and I got married. We had a nice dinner in Buckhead. I paid for it today.Lots of pain, so I slept most of the day.
