Fixin to go look for a place to eat. I'm staying in the Hilton University Place. Driving in looked like lots of stuff near by. Couldn't pay too much attention since it was rush hour, dark and I was reading my mapquest directions

Rock Bottom for wonderful California Pizza....and Phil's NY Pub and Deli on East 5th St--great neighborhood bar and the food is delicious!

Close to downtown near a cool neighborhood of historic homes called Myers Park, darn close to your hotel. Not a chain, a true locals' kind of place where you feel at home right away. Excellent food, affordable. Enjoy!
