Help! Guitar Hero advice

PS2 or Wii? Guitar Hero l,ll, or lll? Which ones have the best songs?

well, i have never played guitar hero on wii but i have seen it, the wii controller goes into the guitar, the only problem would be changing the batteries, and maybe(idk forsure) a small delay cuz its wireless. Now, i have had guitar hero 1 and 2 for ps2 and it is nice, it comes with a wired controller but u CAN buy a wireless. And on all the guitar heros, if u have 2 controllers, u can play together, in co-op, or against each other. in guitar hero 2 and up, if u have 2 controllers one person can play bass while the other plays guitar which is aaawesome. They also have Guitar Hero Rocks the 80's which is all 80's music from hair metal to punk. P.S. GO TO GOOGLE AND TYPE IN THE "PLAYLIST FOR GUITAR HERO 1, 2, ROCKS THE 80S, OR THREE" AND YOU CAN FIND OUT ALL THE SONGS ON ALL THE GAMES. Good luck

Thanks for your input DV and Pea#1. Like I said before... makes you want them all. Sam would like more current songs. Two controllers would be great maybe Santa could bring that. Samantha's birthday is Dec 14.
The other thing is if I get the Wii GH then I don't think I could get any of the older versions.

Dylan is being very uncomplicated this year. He wants SuperMario Galaxy and a video camera. And he's still mad that Supersmash Bros isn't coming out until Feb.

We lovw Guitar Hero 1 and the 80's. Guitar Hero 1 has lots of songs you and the hubby will enjoy. As for learning to play the the guitar, I think it is a video game...god for eye/hand coordination. We have lots of laughs playing it at our house. he only really good person is our 21 year old daughter. I crash and burn quite often, but who cares....it is a game.!!!
