Oh you mean, Head to Toe in Grayton in South Walton which is in Walton County, not Destin in Okaloosa County, which is not in Walton County...give it a break...

It's a valid point. How about you give it a break?

It's a point that gets hammered over and over again. Not supporting a business just because it's not on 30A is the same as shopping on line, which does not help the local economy. Rant all you want, but the surrounding communities are all in this together. All local business need consumer crossover to survive.

So you proudly display your "The Beach" orange sticker?

If I was staying in Destin during season I sure wouldn't be driving to Grayton to get my hair done and vice versa.

Here is another option from Destin...go into Fort Walton Beach, actually to Mary Esther. In the plaza with TBS Comics and the Liza Jackson Preparatory School, there is a Fantastic Sam's. Ask for Lien. It's pronounced like Lynn. If Lien isn't there, get your hair cut at your own risk (there are actually several there who are pretty good, but I don't know their names). If Lien is there, get on the list and wait. You will be $10 lighter when you leave, but she's worth it.

Alas, Lien stopped working weekends, and I've pretty much stopped going to Fort Walton, and I'm glad we have Head To Toe. But if you are over that way during the week, walk on in...
