yes! another good one. You gotta see them play. Excellent musicians!

Do they wear their Mummie outfits I saw on their website? Looks to me it would be hard to sing with all that gauze wrapped around your lips!

Yes! they always have them on. They were playing at Riverbend in the heat and humitidy with those things on. Can you imagine the smell in the wardrobe van

Heading down to the riverfront tonight (if bdarg ever gets home) to see the Del McCoury band- bluegrass- has anyone seen them? They are always here during the Bluegrass music awards/festival, but this is our first "listen"...

Saw them at Graytonroo 2004, I mean Bonaroo 2004. I get confused with all the permatents in Grayton during the summer. Del and the boys are awesome.

Y'all are right- they were great. Our public radio station puts on a "Waterfront Wednesday" once a month w/bands, foods, and FULL bar (not just beer!), and the bands are always good. Plus Katrina blew out all of the yukky hot dirty air and the night was clear and cool- perfect! I didn't get as close to the stage as I would have liked since we had the kids with us, but listening while sitting on a boat wasn't too bad  .

So SJ- did you see Old Crow at Bonneroo? I love them and watching them play verges on exhausting because it's impossible not to dance!

I don't recall seeing Old Crow.

My computer skills are well, shall we say, limited, but we are working on that.

Anyway, here is the web site. Their story is pretty fun, and are really awesome despite their very young ages! Hundreds were turned away last time they played here.
