Are you serious about Utah in August? That is my home state. Its been 100 degrees out there this week. Unless you're going to the mtns., I vote for the beach!

How is the Nooga? Our 9-yr-old daughter is there visiting grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins. Maybe you'll run in to her at the fountains at Coolidge Park or the Aquarium! She is the one with the Florida tan!

The fountains are within walking distance of our house

And as far as hot goes, I don't know if it would be worse in Utah than it is in Florida or even Nooga. You know, it's a dry heat

Yes, totally serious about Utah. Going to look at condos in Park City. Any word on the heat there? Is there anything for the little Otters (7&9) to do?

Coolidge is less than a mile from us. Lots of stuff happening there now. Pretty cool place.

Don't buy up all the condos! That may be our next real estate purchase. Then we can visit family without having to stay with family.

Tons to do for kids. Just think of it as SoWal with mountains instead of beach. Biking, hiking, horseback riding, skate park, ride the tram to the top of the mountain, alpine slide, etc. Park City is usually 10 degress cooler than Salt Lake Valley. But it is a dry heat. :D

Don't worry we'll leave the Big Dollar condos for you. We just want a little place to throw our skies. :D

Do you think a week out there would be too long?

I've tried to tell that to my brother in Phoenix. They'll take 90 degress with 90% humidity in Florida over 115 degrees in Phoenix any day.

As for the heat here compared to elsewhere, even Paula says that Michigan in the summer is just as hot as here. I think I'll take SoWal for the winters over Ann Arbor!

No, if you get bored with Park City itself, there is lots to do in other areas.
