Thanks SmilingJoe. I am so happy I found this website. I think I'll be happy here. I have so many pix to share with y'all. I don't have any of the beach proper though. Just of the bayou I live on. It's strange, since I've lived here 25 1/2 years and I don't have any real beach pix.

Hello wishly....I bet you will be happy here! Lots of nice, helpful folks. I am so excited you will be sharing pix from another part of this beautiful area! I am guilty of staying mostly near the beach when down there...but have promised myself to really explore more this fall. I look forward to your pix and some education about your part of paradise!!

Welcome! I would love to see bayou photos. I know a little something about the beach, but nothing about the bayou. It would be great to get some photos that bring us closer to the bayou, just as we get closer to the beach from the photos that are posted on this discussion group.

Also sueshore thanks for the info I never even new that about the name under the user name. Always wondered, but just didn't ask. Also I just noticed it did change. Last time I remember I was still a beach tourist, now I'm a beach dreamer, that's so true. :clap_1:

Congrats ladybug!! I try not to look at the # of posts....it's just a constant reminder of my problem!! It's all good though...and a nice problem to have! Keep on dreaming of the beach!!!!
