I wish I could have optimism about Hillary. :sosad: Unfortunately, she is not the perfect candidate- a long way from it. I think we are going to have to be a little more realistic about the Dem candidate- it will have to be someone that doesn't come to the election with half of the country hating her/his guts.

Agreed! She is bright, articulate, experienced, a hard worker.....but unfortunately, I think her past baggage will hang heavily around her neck.

Kristi,

Did that letter actually have 4, (count them - four) links to her website for contributions?

Or did you add some into your post?

Just curious!

No I didn't add any why, what's your point? The woman is trying to raise money.

Wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up the fastest. Come on. "We" are entitled to our "realistic" opinions. I do appreciate your kindness though. I really don't believe half of the country hates her guts and if so why-because her husband made a mistake?

Exactly what past baggage, her husband's admitted mistake, a cigar, a stranger? It wasn't her fault, was it? If her and her family survived through it why squash her career? So that should negate all her very hard work? I'm sorry I don't think she should be crucified for the same mistake so many men have made. Give the woman a small break. Check out her biography some time. She's paid her dues and has more experience, more than any other candidate, period. Maybe a woman's heart and mind could help us find some peace with our neighbors.

If you think the Clintons' "mistakes" in the past are related to cigars and raping women, yes, I said, raping, you need to go read up on all of the banking fiascos in which both the Clintons were involved before coming to the office of the President.

Personally, I like the idea of a lady in Office, but having a vagina and mammary glands, doesn't qualify for being more than a female -- a "lady," Hillary is not.

Maybe instead of questioning the number of people who dislike Hillary, you can direct us to her site which will state her positions on the important issues. I am still having trouble understanding if she actually has any positions. :dunno: If you come across Obama's positions while you are searching maybe you can post those too, since I cannot find his positions either. I am trying to keep an open mind and actually learn something about these candidates, but they are not giving me any information. I can see that Hillary is cosmetically prettier now than she was when she, I mean Bill, entered the Office, but that doesn't tell me much, other than she must not have been content with her looks in the past.

Do any of you remember when Hillary was in Seaside a few years ago? Some guy from Louisiana was having a fund-raiser for them, I mean Bill. Skunky that wasn't you was it?

Perhaps I should be a little nicer, but the fact is that they are all politricktions and I don't like any of the choices. If any candidate is the "perfect" one, they will be the one to monitor most closely. ;-)

Certainly, if she were guilty of anything she would be in prison rather than sitting in the United States Senate. New Yorkers I know like the woman from Arkansas, that in itself tells me she must be doin' something right.

She can certainly close the deficit with her astute commodity trading.;-)
