most will vote the party, not the person, sadly.

I have only voted for one Republican in my entire life (Bobby Jindal, LA gubernatorial race 2003), but there are a few Republicans I'd vote for over HRC. If one of the less palatable elephants gets the nomination, I'd probably just not cast a vote in that race.

I think I'd feel this way even if I hadn't been verbally bee-otch slapped by the woman when volunteering on her husband's campaign back in 1992.

As you know, my voter card has never said anything other than GOP, but when we register here I will be a Democrat for about two months so I can vote against her in the Democrat primary. Based on what I am reading the folks in Iowa and New Hampshire are starting to consider the consequences of a 16 year presidency. And I must also add, if HRC is elected President, I am not going to act like a whiney leftist and move to another country.

Strong words from a wise lady.

To give y'all another example of how strong the feelings are about this race, Mr. K, who has probably voted Democratic only in local races, made the comment that he is baffled by who to vote for. He even said he might have to vote for HRC! I think he is joking, but it goes to show you the quandary in which many people are finding themselves. The parties they have "belonged" to no longer represent their values and beliefs. It may be time to get Granny D to abolish this two party system and start over....or maybe vote for RP...Ross Perot! :D

PEACE, LOVE, AND HILLARY in '08!

A)experience
B)educational background
C)2 for 1
D)'Bout time, Other countries have had wonderful women leaders. How many presidents have we had now, 40 something, not one woman or person of color, are we still prejudice?

I opened this thread and instead of going to the last post, I got the original post which kind of took me by surprise. I had to get rid of the huge font and the smilies to make it a little easier on the eyes. And, I will state that I have no idea yet who I'm going to vote for. So, since it was posted, I must question the selling points above.

A) What experience? She's only at the beginning of her sophomore term.
B) She has a law degree.
C) I'm assuming this means we get her husband as part of the deal. Are you kidding?
D) About time? This is a quarter of your(her) argument? I'm all for change, but change with merit. How does her gender make her the best person for the job?

I think I need to see a little more meat from senator Clinton to even consider her as a viable candidate. She sure makes a good nutcracker though...

If responses to the above have been posted elsewhere, forgive me, and point me there. I couldn't bring myself to read the entire thread.
