In my opinion, trashing a candidate is taking things out of context, distorting the record, or pushing rumors that have been disproven. Stating facts is not 'trashing' a candidate.
I only posted about things I'd personally seen. Heck, BeachSiO2 even shared his polling place shenanigans in real time.
I would never post rumors and innuendo, and I'm certainly not going to go on the attack. I am not just a cheerleader for Barack Obama, and I won't post that HE'S GRAYT or

Obama '08

.
I will post about the reasons I support him, and they will be points of policy and approach to political discourse, not yippie! A black President, 'bout time! I will not attack another poster, because frankly I don't need to. If I couldn't defend my decision to support Barack Obama using logic and facts, then I'd admit I should look at other candidates.
I've held back time and again when posts could have easily been ripped apart and the other poster made to look an a$$. I haven't done that, it just causes retrenching and unwillingness to explore different ideas. I would certainly never do anything as sleazy of what SK accused me of doing. The main reason I support Obama is because, "There are no red states, there are no blue states, we are the UNITED states." I'm tired of cheerleading. I'm tired of cynicism and apathy. We've all been guilty of it in the past, and look where it's gotten us. We've gotten the elected officials we deserve.
Never again, not me. I'm not going to bicker about this silliness. It's unworthy of the political forum. Games belong in the Lounge.

Misquotes like that are just wrong Tootsie and are crossing the line in my opinion.
It's been like that for how long, days now? Fix it already, huh, rather than trashing me!

You're so funny!
