Hiyah from Donna and Butter

Hi, SoWallers,
Bet you thought I had gone into the abyss, which is partially true. I have spent the summer working like crazy on new wineries and resorts, in between going up to Bainbridge Island to chill and kayak. Butter is a good traveler and all round rock star, kept his cool even when getting buzzed by two bald eagles who have a nest in the tall trees to the rear of my place up there. These things stand about waste high and have frightful talons. I have seen them go for a full-size Canadian goose and then settle for one of the babies. Goose bites are nasty, you know.

It seems so long since I have been at Grayton. I plan to be there for two weeks in October, the fav month. There is a 40th high school reunion at Walton and I am wondering how all those people I went to high school with got so old. Can anyone tell me? It will be fun.

Hoping for an uneventful condition in October and will see many of you then. Gone, but hopefully not forgotten...Donna
