It's true. I would take him over to a friends house and they would play with the play dough factory there. That stuff should be :banned:

dbuck, you're alot like my mom except she bought it. I used to admire it HIGH above me on the top shelf of the closet. Never remember playing with it though. :rotfl:

I am considering getting a small lap dog. Any suggestions??

The absolute perfect lap dog is an Australian Terrier. And you are lucky because there is a breeder in Freeport. My sister bought her Australia Terrier a couple of years ago and I'm not kidding everyone just loves this dog. She eventually gave him to me and I adore him.

Now, I have NEVER had a pet in my life. As a matter of fact, I not only disliked dogs, I was generally suspicious of people who had dogs. NOW I am certified :rotfl: I LOVE MY BUCKWHEAT!!!! :clap_1: :clap_1: We didn't name him (came with the "papers"), but the name certainly fits him.

PM me if you are interested and I'll get name and phone number of the breeder. From what I have read this breed is generally has a mild temperament, loves people, and doesn't bark much. Naturally I think our dog is just perfect.

Good luck with your search. Dogs can be so much fun, but they also take time and responsibility.

:lolabove: That may be true, but if you will ask my kids, they will confirm, I'm the meanest mom EVER, so I don't feel bad saying no! :funn:

If you ever change your mind make sure you agree to a DWARF hamster. So much different and really easy to take care of. Corn cob bedding is the way to go and it doesn't need changed that often and does not stink...no joke. So far the little guy hasn't bit us and he's clean and neat. I guess we'll let him stay.:D

If it were up to me, I'd have cats and dogs and hamsters and maybe even a bird. But Mr Ktschris is not so excited about it. After our last dog passed, he said that was it. But, my daughter does have a pretty cute face when she pouts and she does have him wrapped around her finger, so we shall see. Thanks for the tips :D

It's been a year since this last post. I needed to check b/c I was wondering how old Lewis was. ( see ...Sowal is very helpful) I thought he was about a a year and a half but he is only a year. We noticed the other day that Lewis has shrunk! We got him out and he was remarkable smaller than a week or so ago. He doesn't look sick or anything but it made me wonder if he is nearing the end of his little life. :dunno: We've had a hamster last almost as long as 4 years, 2 years, and then 6 months. So you just don't know sometimes. Lewis has been our best and favorite hamster so far. He licks Sam and never bites and he's not messy like some are. :D
