This is pretty darn neat....and what a nice bag. So glad the Ole Miss debate wasn't cancelled and carried on. Gosh that seems so long ago.

Have you ever seen bags like these around campus?

I have not seen the bags, I imagine they were a special order for the candidates. They are nice, I would like to have one.

My perfect beach
That's a nice bag. But now every college will be sending bags to the White House.

They were given to the candidates when they came to Ole Miss for the debates. It was nice to see the President is actually using his and since the photo made the Time web site, alumni have been trying to find out if they are available for purchase, it has become a very popular bag.

Marketing genius is right! Wonder what a President carries in his personal bag.

The red luggage tag cracks me up. "The President." I love it!

What's "hotty toddy" about carrying an Ole Miss bag? No offense to Ole Miss fans, but in the SEC due to all of the national championships at UF in recent years, a Gator bag would be more prestigious, even if if were in the tacky colors orange and blue. In addition, the only two SEC schools in the top 50 universities on U.S. News & World Report are Vandy and the University of Florida. (BTW I believe it's hoity-toity, but of course I've never made a mistake;-)).

Hoity-toity would be if Obama were carrying an Epi briefcase.

Sorry. Just some friendly smacking among SEC fans, Minnie.;-)

EDIT: I see online that apparently "Hotty Toddy" is a play on words at Ole Miss on the term "hoity-toity."

I am too sleepy to correct spelling errors. I spent 5 hours getting home from 'Nooga, thanks to a big wreck on I-75 South at the GA 300 mm. At least I wasn't headed to the Atlanta airport and thus missed a flight to California, Asia, Australia, and Europe as many of my colleagues did.:bang:
