What's "hotty toddy" about carrying an Ole Miss bag? No offense to Ole Miss fans, but in the SEC due to all of the national championships at UF in recent years, a Gator bag would be more prestigious, even if if were in the tacky colors orange and blue. In addition, the only two SEC schools in the top 50 universities on U.S. News & World Report are Vandy and the University of Florida. (BTW I believe it's hoity-toity, but of course I've never made a mistake;-)).

Hoity-toity would be if Obama were carrying an Epi briefcase.

I don't see Kansas in the top 50 universities in the U.S.

Johnrudy, you don't live in The South. Ole Miss ("Rebels," get it?) is pretty much synonymous with Confederate-flag-carrying KA's.

I still think Ole Miss is a great school. Some of my best friends and their children have graduated from there. Despite the Rebel connotations, the people I've known that are Ole Miss graduates are pretty classy, as compared to many graduates of some other SEC schools.

I give a rat's azz about the SEC, as do thousands of people down here.

No disrespect for Ole Miss, but their mascot is the Rebels. If part of my heritage were African-American, I wouldn't be cool with that.
