How have you saved money?

So basically at any grocery store. As you know, our Wal-Mart is pretty scary -- people have on filthy clothes and look like they haven't bathed washed their hair in a long time. Kinda like me at Hibiscus today.

Okay I can visualize the employees, what do the customers look like?

I have this fabulous 200 yr. old oak tree that drops 187,442 leaves between Sept. and Dec. every year.

I picked them all up myself this time.....and, I really hate picking up the leaves.....love gardening, but do not like the leaf part at all.

Said tree will drop approx. as many pollen pods from late Mar. to late May, of which I will pick up myself this year, too. I will be sneezin' and Sweet Pea and p***y will both have runny noses.

Can't afford my sweet helper right now. Thank God he has other clients~~~~

We bought a cow. For real! My neighbor has a farm in Defuniak, and we bought a cow, which he took to the butcher for us and voila'- 300 lbs of beef for about a buck fifty a lbs. Got it just before thanksgiving and not quite half way through it. My arteries are screaming but there is always red wine!

We used to put a hog and half a cow in the freezer every year - but we had a farm - had fresh everything!

I've started making my own paperclips. Bulk wire is really cheap. Now I do use a very expensive set of needle nose pliers and cutters, but I figure eventually they'll pay for themselves!;-)

In the past couple of years I stopped shopping for clothes at Neiman's and started shopping at Old Navy. Except for shoes, bags, and jewelry -- if those are expensive, everything else looks good.

I just got a letter from the Neiman-Marcus CEO. We've been InCircle members from the beginning of InCircle. He said that I was hand-picked to receive deep discounts. I have discount offers out the wazoo.

Like hubby teased me, if I stop shopping at Neiman's, they will go out of business. So I will take advantage of all of the discount coupons so that it won't be my bad if they go out of business. That is BR's economic stimulus plan.
