Ok....so, BB thinks I need to bring up OLD news...funny but OLD. For those of you that do not know, or have forgotten (don't know how your could) I too made a small miscalcuation when banking at the Whitney (then Destin Bank) in Seagrove. I was in the mercedes (thankfully the top was up) and I parked in front of the bank to run in and drop off some banking business....unfortunately I DID NOT remember to put the car in PARK NOR did I remember to Turn the car OFF. So....I made my OWN DRIVE THRU. Yes, I ended up IN the lobby of the Destin Bank....HUGE collum laying across the top of my car. I was REALLY surprised that it did not make the Walton Sun, as it seems EVERYTHING I do ends up in the paper. Perhaps I was just lucky that day that Debbie Wheeler was off writing about someone else (Love u Deb).....I cannot tell you HOW many times I got asked that day "Hey, Lisa...Did you forget where the drive thru was???" Funny now, yes. Funny then, no. To repair the car I made them use all original Mercedes parts, no aftermarket. Needless to say it took a while to repair the 1987 560SL. But she is good as new. I wasn't hurt (except my pride) and Thank You BB For reminding me of something I had chosen to forget
